Abstract Background A sensitive, precise, and stability-indicating high-performance thin-layer chromatographic (HPTLC) method has been developed for the analysis of Remogliflozin etabonate in tablet formulation. HPTLC plates precoated with silica gel 60 F 254 were used as stationary phase; methanol: ethyl acetate: toluene: NH 3 (2:4:4:0.1, v/v/v) was mobile phase, densitometry quantitative estimation drug. The proposed validated respect to linearity, accuracy, precision, robustness applied drug dosage form. Results R f value observed be 0.61. densitometric performed reflectance mode at 229 nm. found linear range 500–8000 ng/band etabonate. possible degradation pathway estimated by performing forced studies. degradant peaks well resolved from peak acceptable resolution their value. Conclusion An accurate precise quantification tablets. Forced studies performed, highly susceptible acid, base hydrolysis, oxidative stress gets converted into active Remogliflozin. Both bands resolved. formulation, it can routine quality control analysis, stability samples.
